Why We Started Tre Hoi An
It started with a simple realization: Vietnam is wonderful — and the people who live here should be the ones sharing it. Our French friend Stéphane, who visits three or four times a year, put it best: "You are so lucky — your country is wonderful." That was the push we needed.
In July 2025, we took a train to Hue searching for traditional rường houses, spent days exploring heritage architecture across Central Vietnam, and found a traditional house in Hoi An owned by Hanoi architects who share our love for preserving what's real.
We're young — we know that. But we graduated in Tourism & Hospitality Management, and more importantly, we have a deep love for Vietnamese culture that no amount of experience can replace. Our standard is simple: Clean. Traditional. Culturally Authentic.
